Terms & Conditions


If you decide to go ahead with TCT hire products, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required within 7 days to offer you (the client) and us (The Celebration Table) security. Items cannot be held for your event date until the deposit is paid. Your full payment is required 30 days prior to your event date. If your event is booked within that 30 day period, full payment at time of booking is expected.

The deposit forms part of your hire agreement and we will make these items unavailable to other clients once paid.

Booking deposits are non refundable.


All cancellations shall be placed in writing with the relevant invoice number. No verbal cancellations shall be accepted to minimise any misunderstandings. Cancellations will see the loss of any paid deposits. Any outstanding payments will not be charged unless cancellations are within 30 days of the event. Cancellations within 30 days will incur a 100% cancellation fee due to loss of opportunity.


The breakage of the odd glass or plate is inevitable and not to be stressed about, however if Uncle Ron’s attempt to entertain the guests by whipping out the tablecloth from the set table goes pear shaped, or the Gold cutlery takes a ride home in Aunt Daphne’s handbag, we would expect to be compensated for any loss or breakages. Apologies to any Uncle Ron and Aunt Daphne’s out there, names are purely fictional…

In lieu of a security deposit or bond the client accepts that should any items become lost, damaged or stolen when in possession of the client, the client shall notify TCT in writing. The client will agree to pay replacement costs to TCT for any items that remain unreturned or are damaged and require replacement.


Once products have been delivered/received, the client accepts all responsibilities and liabilities until they have been returned in good order back to TCT. 

TCT is not responsible for any injury or illness that may occur to persons during the hire period or thereafter due to any misuse or reckless handling of products supplied by TCT.


If the customer’s event is unable to proceed due to covid restrictions implemented by the state government, any deposits or full payment will be held in credit for one year from the cancelled event date. Please bear in mind that due to existing bookings your original booked items may be unavailable for your rescheduled event date. We shall always work with the customer to provide alternative items or alternate dates.

If the customer chooses not to reschedule and cancels altogether our normal cancellation policy will apply.
